The Australian National Member Society of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO ANMS) is calling for abstracts for paper and poster presentations for its 2011 Annual Scientific Meeting, to be held November 2-5, in Sydney, Australia. The theme for the meeting is the “Psychosocial Impact of Disability and Limb Loss.”
“Given the scope of the major theme, we would particularly encourage a diverse range of health professionals to consider submitting abstracts based on their work with prosthetic and orthotic clients,” ISPO ANMS stated in a press release, adding that it also welcomes the submission of research papers, technical notes, clinical case studies, and literature reviews.
Presenters can download the “Call for Papers” brochure, which outlines the meeting themes and submission guidelines. The submission instructions can be reviewed here.
The submission deadline is August 1.
