Orthofeet, Northvale, New Jersey, has announced two additions to its executive team. Mike DiSotto has joined as vice president, manufacturing, and Dennis Janisse, CPed, has joined as director of scientific affairs.

A veteran of the shoe industry, DiSotto has extensive experience in supervising the complete manufacturing process, including procurement, purchasing, manufacturing, and commercialization. At Orthofeet, he will manage all manufacturing responsibilities including leadership of China facilities. He was most recently vice president operations at Via Prive Active Wear, Boston, Massachusetts, and director of material development/sourcing/management at the San Antonio Shoe Company (SAS), Texas.
Janisse, a thought-leader in the pedorthic industry, has lectured and published extensively on foot care for adults with diabetes. He is clinical assistant professor, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. At Orthofeet, he will manage all content creation for healthcare providers including certification courses, educational lectures, and workshops. He will also oversee the development of consumer education materials. Janisse was most recently director of pedorthic education at P.W. Minor & Son, Batavia, New York.
