Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, headquartered in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, has hired Chris Baughman, CP, BOCO, as a managing practitioner for its Raleigh, North Carolina, patient care center, which is scheduled to open this fall. This will be Ability’s 11th patient care center.
Baughman comes to Ability from Anatomical Designs, Uniontown, Pennsylvania, where he was a senior lead practitioner covering southwestern Pennsylvania, and Morgantown, West Virginia. Prior to that, he served as the lead practitioner at Union Orthotics & Prosthetics, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Baughman earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Slippery Rock University, Pennsylvania. He received his prosthetics education from California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH).
