Hanger, headquartered in Austin, Texas, was named by Forbes as one of the 100 Best Small Companies in America. Additionally, within the category Best Small Companies Hiring in the U.S., Hanger was ranked number five.
The annual Forbes rankings are based on earnings growth, sales growth, and return on equity in the past 12 months and over five years. Companies must have been publicly traded for at least one year, earn annual revenue between $5 million and $1 billion, and have a stock price no lower than $5 a share.
