Sunshine Prosthetics and Orthotics, Wayne, New Jersey, recently formed a team to participate in the June 30 annual Lincoln Park Triathlon, New Jersey. The team members included individuals with amputations and varying degrees of disability. They were combined into groups that would relay in swimming, biking, and running events.
“We formed the team to show the local community that disability is a challenge that you have to overcome like any other challenge,” said Brooke Artesi, CP, LPO, owner of Sunshine P&O, who formed the team.
