
Kennedy
The Pedorthic Foundation has announced that Séamus Kennedy, CPed, BEng (Mech), and D. Scott Williamson, MBA, CAE, have been elected to its board of directors.
Kennedy, who received his pedorthic certification in 1996, is president and co-owner of Hersco Ortho Labs, Long Island City, New York. He is a contributing writer to and advisory board member of The O&P EDGE. He also is a lecturer, having presented at the International Pedorthic Congress, at American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA) conferences, and at American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (the Academy) meetings.

Williamson
Williamson is president of Quality Outcomes, Fredericksburg, Virginia, and board president of the Orthotic & Prosthetic Activities Foundation (OPAF). He was the director of facility accreditation for the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC) and is a frequent speaker on durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, and supplies (DMEPOS) accreditation processes and standards, on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Quality Standards, and about how the OP&P profession is being affected by pending regulations and developments in the delivery of care.
