Ekso Bionics, Richmond, California, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ekso Bionics Holdings, based in Santiago, Chile, has been named one of “five startups poised to change MedTech [medical technology] forever,” by Medical Device and Diagnostic Industry (MD+DI) magazine. Ekso Bionics designs, develops, and commercializes exoskeletons that have a variety of applications in the medical, military, industrial, and consumer markets, including enabling individuals with lower-limb weakness to stand and walk.
