Long Island Plastic Surgical Group, Garden City, New York, is conducting a survey of prosthetists to investigate the relationship between the surgical aspects of upper-limb amputation and prosthetic use. According to an OANDP-L listserv posting by plastic surgeon Brian A. Pinsky, MD, and research assistant Jessica Korsh, MS, the results of the survey will be used for research purposes and may be included in presentations at scientific meetings or published in a medical journal.
