Chas A Blatchford & Sons (Blatchford), Basingstoke, England, announced its intent to purchased a majority share in four Norwegian P&O clinics: Aktiv Ortopedi, Tromso; Ortopediservice, Kristiansand; Nordland Ortopediske Verksted, Bodo; and Atterås Ortopediteknikk, Bergen. The sale closed recently, with the a £12 million (about US $18.2 million) funding package provided by Lloyds Bank. The clinics become part of Blatchford Ortopedi, but will continue to operate locally using their existing trading names, according to Bdaily, a U.K.-based publisher of online business news.
