Orthotic Holdings Inc. (OHI), Ronkonkoma, New York, has acquired custom foot orthotic laboratory Footbōn, Huntington, New York. Paul Langer, who founded Footbōn in 2009, has joined OHI’s Langer Biomechanics, Ronkonkoma, as vice president of operations. Langer began his career at Langer Biomechanics in 1975, which was cofounded by his father, Sheldon Langer, in 1969.
“Paul and I each began our careers at Langer, and in 1991 we cofounded Benefoot, a company eventually acquired by Langer. I know for a fact that no one is better equipped than Paul to take Langer and its customers to ever greater success,” said Jason Kraus, OHI’s president and COO.
