Jerome Paul Voisin passed away on December 10 at the age of 62. He owned Acadian Prosthetics & Orthopedic Aids, Houma, Louisiana, for more than 30 years before selling it in 2012.
“Jerome was an amputee who became a prosthetist out of his desire to help others renew their ability as his had been renewed,” said Jack Richmond, CPOA, in an OANDP-L listserv post. “He loved helping others. Jerome has several inventions, innovations, and patents to his credit.”
Voisin is survived by his wife, Bobbie Harlow Voisin; sons, Nathan Voisin and Aaron F. Voisin; and eight grandchildren.
