Coapt Licenses Purdue’s Implantable Technology

Coapt, Chicago, has licensed implantable technology from Purdue University’s technology transfer program, Purdue Research Foundation, West Lafayette, Indiana. The implantable electrodes, developed by Purdue University researchers, read electrical signals from underneath the skin. With the license of this technology, Coapt will work to advance prosthetic limb control for individuals with upper-limb amputations.
