Leipziger Messe, Leipzig, Germany, has announced that Helene von Groote has been named project director of OTWorld effective June 1. As part of the restructuring of the medical fairs organized by Leipziger Messe, Ronald Beyer, the project director for the past 18 years, will now contribute to the extension of medical coverage, oversee other national events, and be responsible for the development of new events and coverage.
von Groote has worked for Leipziger Messe since 2005, including as project manager for OTWorld and as project director for the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) World Congress. She will report to Klaus Ernst, the executive director.
