Ability Prosthetics & Orthotics, headquartered in Exton, Pennsylvania, has endowed the OPAF Dale Yasukawa Scholarship for 2016. This is the ninth consecutive year that Jeffrey Brandt, CPO, president and owner of Ability has donated and designated funds for the $1,000 scholarship.
Dale Yasukawa, CP, who passed away in 2001, was a colleague and a mentor to Brandt. “I was a recipient of a scholarship while at Northwestern and I feel it is important to give back to these scholarships,” said Brandt. I will continue to support the Dale Yasukawa Scholarship, on behalf of Ability, to honor Dale’s impact and memory.”
The scholarship is open to all full-time master’s program candidates enrolled at Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center.
