The National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics and Prosthetics (NAAOP) announced that three new members were elected to its board of directors to serve during the 115th Congress (2017-2018). The board members are Margaret Ellen Baumer, JD, business development manager, Hanger Clinic, Northampton, Massachusetts; Ann Leimkuehler Moss, president, Union Orthotics and Prosthetics, headquartered in Pittsburgh; and Brittany Stresing, CPO, FAAOP, founder and president, LimBionics, Durham, North Carolina.
“NAAOP is thrilled to have Maggie Baumer, Ann Moss, and Brittany Stresing join our board of directors,” said David McGill, JD, NAAOP president. “Together, they will bring a wealth of advocacy, business, and clinical experience to NAAOP that will allow the organization to continue to serve our members in a progressive and effective manner.”
“In 2017, NAAOP will celebrate 30 years of O&P advocacy and we look forward to having Maggie, Ann, and Brittany become board members and continue their leadership in government affairs advocacy…,” said George Breece, NAAOP executive director.
