Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center (NUPOC) graduate students Michael Hoggatt and Charity Smith have been selected to receive the International African American Prosthetic & Orthotic Coalition (IAAPOC) Sam D. Benson Scholarship. IAAPOC members and other supporters fund the scholarship. Sam Benson, CO, was a founding member of the coalition and served as its first president in 1990.
