I am that person, but the comment was made about my ICEROSS, all-silicon

liner, before I switched to the Alpha. I wash my Alpha turned inside out

now in the shower when I shower. I have ceased using the dishwasher

because I don’t know what high temperature does to the Alpha, and the

cloth exterior will likely be stressed. I found soap and water in the

shower to be adequate and quick. I put the Alpha on immediately, and

even somewhat wet, have had no problems at all. I have found the

delicate, wash-and-dry overnight routine to be unnecessarily anal. The

dishwasher is still a great idea for silicone only liners. Silicone is

good to 2-3X the temps dishwashers achieve…just don’t let the liner

touch the heater coil under the lower tray.
