Come celebrate with the Florida Chapter of the American Academy
of Orthotists and Prosthetists and the Florida Association of
Orthotists and Prosthetists at our Annual Multidisciplinary
Scientific Symposium and Business Meeting at the Southseas Plantation Resort
on Captiva Island, Florida.
The dates are October 17-18, 1997.
We have a very diverse scientific session planned, over 25 suppliers will
be displaying their newest innovations, an excellent cocktail reception
and banquet are planned, and the facilities are excellent!
Florida State Senator Ginny Brown-Waite and
Florida State Representative Mandy Dawson White will be
present to recieve awards from both organizations in honor of their
dedication to protecting citizens with disabilities through their
sponsorship of the successful Florida Orthotics and Prosthetics Licensure
Bill (now Law).
This will be an excellent opportunity to interact with other health care
professionals,
find out more about the successful passage of state licensure for Orthotists
and Prosthetists, and to have a good time at an excellent resort on an island
off the south west part of Florida.
