I have been contacted by a missionary friend (who helps the
disadvantaged in Baja California) regarding a gentleman who sustained an
amputation about 6″ above his right knee. He has no stump problems. He
used to work in a tire shop and wants to continue working to support his
family.
Please E mail me [log in to unmask] if you can direct me to
someone who has information about a prosthesis that is low cost and
low-maintenance prosthesis (perhaps with no knee joint?) so he can stand
and ambulate short distances. He has no discomfort in the stump and has
been using crutches.
