The Baylor College of Medicine Master of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics (MSOP) Program hosted its White Coat Ceremony this month for the class of 2025.
The annual ceremony honored first-year students for completing the preclinical phase of the program. Students received their white coats and recited the Oath of Practice for Orthotists and Prosthetists to mark their transition into the 18-month residency phase. The class completed 49 exams, worked with patient models 21 times, and finished nearly 387 lab hours.
“I am proud of you for your hard work and determination,” said Ashley Mullen, PhD, MSAT, CPO, program director of the college’s O&P program. “Lean into the strength that you have built this year. Embrace the opportunity to learn from some of the best clinicians in the country.”
