Össur hired Kirsty Carlyle, PhD, MEng, as its new global product manager, upper limb.
Previously, Carlyle worked as a manufacturing engineer within Össur, contributing to process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and production of upper-limb prosthetic devices. 
She holds a doctoral degree from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council Centre for Doctoral Training in Prosthetics and Orthotics at the University of Strathclyde, with research focused on decision-making in partial hand prosthetic prescriptions.
