Linda Calabria, Calibration Marketing, launched the Partial Hand Solutions Guide to make it easier for people to find information about partial hand amputations. Coauthors include prosthetists, occupational therapists, surgeons, and users.
“Too often, the partial hand amputee population is overlooked and forgotten, and when they are faced with the trauma of amputation, they are too often just sent on their way after surgery without knowing who to go to, what questions to ask, and what the future looks like,” Calabria said.
