When we asked about your favorite thing about Christmas Day, 76 percent said gathering with family and friends was the best thing about the day. Twenty-four percent said watching kids open gifts was their favorite, and absolutely no one said wearing their favorite ugly sweater topped the list.
Our first poll of the New Year asked: What are you planning to do better, different, more or less of in 2022? Give more compliments? Read a book a month? Reduce your waste?
Of those who responded, 42 percent said they plan to reduce the amount of time they spend on social media; 25 percent said they plan to develop better exercise habits; 17 percent said they plan to practice more random acts of kindness, and one responder said, “I am going to dedicate time each month to rebuilding/creating friendships.” That’s a great goal!
