The use of advertising in politics promotes political ideas, policies, and candidates through different marketing outlets, and, as most everyone knows, is not a new phenomenon. In the second of a two-part question, we asked our followers about the drawbacks of political advertising.
Of those responding, 82 percent said most ads spread misinformation, 12 percent said the ads lead to voter apathy, and 6 percent said political ads are too costly.
Last week, we turned our attention back to O&P with another two-part question—this one on the benefits and challenges to 3D printing. We first asked our followers about the advantages for clinicians when it comes to 3D printing.
Of those who responded, 57 percent said 3D printing offers faster turnaround times, 18 percent said there’s less waste involved with 3D printing, 18 percent also said the technology helps to provide a better, more precise fit, and 7 percent said 3D-printed devices provide more comfort and mobility.
For this week’s poll we are asking our followers about the some of the challenges of 3D printing. So far, our followers are saying regulatory and quality standards are the biggest challenges. Tell us what you think. We’d love to hear from you.
