Prayasta, Bengaluru, India, is using 3D-printing technology to manufacture post-mastectomy breast prostheses, another service that is often offered separately from other O&P businesses. The company said it will eventually focus on 3D-printing other tissue implants like the chin, nasal, lip, and pectoral, among others.
Speaking to YourStory, the co-founders of Prayasta said they built the entire implant-grade silicone printer indigenously for their post-mastectomy prostheses and breast implants, and plan to use similar techniques to branch out to other types of prosthetic solutions.
