Krisita Burket, a communications and public relations executive with Hanger Inc., has left the company. She had been with Hanger for nearly 16 years.
During her tenure she helped manage media relations for Hanger’s free prosthetic clinic in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake; partnered with Clearwater Marine Aquarium to share stories about Winter the dolphin, attended the Dolphin Tale movie premiere, and partnered with then CEO Vinit Asar on critical O&P communications during the coronavirus pandemic.
She also helped to guide the company through leadership transitions, acquisitions, subsidiary launches, and taking Hanger private.
