Qwadra, the digital division of the Eqwal Group, entered into an exclusive license agreement with BEGO Medical for the patent relating to 3D belt printing technology dedicated to the continuous manufacturing of foot orthotics (insoles). Qwadra is the parent company of PodoPrinter, a 3D belt printer. BEGO Medical is a specialist in the dental industry, with a focus on digital workflows, CAD/CAM technologies, and 3D printing.
“With this exclusive license now secured on 3D belt printers for foot orthotics (insoles), Qwadra strengthens an already well-established position on the European and international market and intends to accelerate the deployment of premium solutions combining industrial reliability, clinical precision, and dedicated technical support,” the company said in the announcement.
