Veterans Wanted for VA’s OI Study

Researchers at the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) are recruiting 147 veterans who have transfemoral amputations for a study of the safety and effectiveness of osseointegration (OI).

Ten veterans have received the OI system at VA facilities since it was approved for use in 2015.
