Dankmeyer To Mark 70-year Anniversary

Dankmeyer Prosthetics & Orthotics, Maryland, will mark its 70th anniversary on September 29.

Charles “Herb” Dankmeyer, who had bilateral transtibial amputations, founded the company in Baltimore in 1954. Charles Dankmeyer Jr., CPO, took over the company in 1994 and moved it to Linthicum, Maryland.

Dankmeyer has 11 ABC-certified practitioners on staff, a full-service laboratory, and four locations.
