biodesigns, Santa Monica, California, has announced it has opened a new patient treatment and training center at The Water Court, 880 Hampshire Road, Suite B, Westlake Village, California 91361.The new facility will also serve as biodesigns’ corporate headquarters.
The 5,400-square-foot facility houses private patient rooms, a state-of-the-art rehabilitation and training center, full fabrication capabilities, a research and development laboratory, and a lounge, and will soon house an occupational and physical therapy unit as well as chiropractic, massage, nutrition, and wellness services. Future plans include partnering with a wellness or therapy facility, a physiatrist, and a psychologist.
“This is a high-performance rehabilitation facility where we provide innovative solutions for prosthetic wearers who want to achieve maximum mobility and function with their systems,” said Randall Alley, BSc, CP, LP, CFT, and biodesigns’ CEO and chief prosthetist.
biodesigns said it intends to also use the new facility to educate prosthetists and other allied healthcare professionals on the latest clinical techniques and advancements in the industry, including biodesigns’ products.
