Touch Bionics, based in Livingston, Scotland, has opened a new facility in Newburgh, New York, which will now be the primary location for the production of its livingskinā¢ division.
According to a company press release, the 4,000-square-foot Open-plan facility, located at 610 Broadway, will support and expand on Touch Bionics’ existing livingskin operations at 606 Broadway, more than doubling the size of the company’s overall workspace in Newburgh, and improving manufacturing flow and flexibility.
“This new facility will increase our production capacity significantly, while also ensuring that we retain our existing team of livingskin experts in Newburgh,” said Ian Stevens, CEO of Touch Bionics.
