Ottobock, Austin, Texas, announced that Rod McCrimmon has been named director of marketing for North America and Cali Solorio has been hired as marketing manager.
McCrimmon is responsible for the product marketing team that manages prosthetics, orthotics, bracing, and mobility. He holds a bachelor of science degree in economics from Northwestern University and a master of management degree from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. He comes to Ottobock from St. Jude Medical, St. Paul, Minnesota, where he was the director for integrated lab marketing.
Solorio will focus on supporting new product introductions, the company’s orthopedic rehabilitation business, and product lifecycle management. She has a bachelor of arts degree in communications from the University of Southern California. She previously worked at Inova Labs, Austin.
