Touch Bionics, based in Livingston, Scotland, announced that it has appointed John Brown, PhD, FRSE, CBE, to the position of chairman of the board, succeeding George Borthwick, CBE, who is retiring from the board of directors.
Brown is the chairman of several other public and private sector life sciences organizations; an advisor to several private equity and venture capital funds; a nonexecutive director of Vectura Group, Chippenham, England; cochair of the Life Sciences Industry Advisory Board for the Scottish government; and an honorary professor of the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
