Fellow Listmembers:
The Canadian Postal Workers Strike of 1997 is now over.
The Federal Gov’t passed legislation today forcing the workers to go back
to work. The posties are not particularly happy about it of course! I think
most people are irate at both the company and union for not being able to
settle their differences in time.
As one might expect there is a considerable backlog, please take this into
consideration when mailing to Canada for the next while.
