The American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) presented a handful of awards during its national assembly September 12-15 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Award winners include:
The Howard R. Thranhardt Award: Andreas Kannenberg, MD, PhD, and Shane Wurdeman, CP, PhD, NAAOP (D), “Assessing outcomes with microprocessor knee utilization in a K2 population (ASCENT K2): Findings from a clinical trial of 107 individuals with above-knee amputation”; and Russell Lundstrom, MS, and Tyler Klenow, CPO, MBA, FAAOP, for their joint work on an international C-Brace registry.
