The International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) announced that its board of directors approved the formation of a member society in Syria. ISPO Syria’s goals are to help provide P&O education while meeting the increasing demands for care as a result of the war in Syria. The society will aim to include all parties working inside Syria to provide P&O treatments without discrimination. ISPO Syria will coordinate the efforts of all the working parties on the ground to maximize the benefit for the Syrian people.
